Ranks active players by season average, then randomly distributes them into evenly-matched groups (players of similar skill are spread across every group, so no single team ends up stacked). Regenerate as many times as you like — every run is balanced, but the specific groupings shuffle.
Map each suggested group to a real team below, then apply. This moves every affected player's team assignment immediately — it does not touch captains, so double-check captain assignments in Manage Teams afterward if a captain moved groups.
